Giving to the Department of Primary Health Care

The Department of Primary Health Care aims for excellence in teaching and research, and is one of the five founding members of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) School for Primary Care Research.

Its primary research focus is on the prevention, early diagnosis and management of common illness in general practice – particularly childhood infection, cancer, diabetes, heart disease and stroke.
