Department of Medical Oncology

Previously a Clinical Unit of Cancer Research UK, the Department aims to improve the treatment and quality of life of patients with cancer through the application of scientific discoveries made by Cancer Research UK.

The Department maintains close links with several other departments within Oxford Medicine as well as the NHS and Blood Transfusion Service. These separate units work together to ensure a comprehensive approach to cancer treatment and research.
