The Blavatnik School of Government

Established in 2010, the Blavatnik School of Government seeks to improve the quality of government and public policy-making worldwide. The School delivers leadership and public policy education through innovative teaching programmes, world-leading research into real-life policy challenges and through forging networks that encourage the sharing of best practice.

Work on the new BSG building, situated on the Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, adjacent to Walton Street, got underway in 2013.  The Herzog and de Meuron designed facility is crafted to promote discussion, interaction and collaboration.

The slideshow and time-lapse video show the progress of the building which is now open for business.
