Oxford University Table Tennis Club

Oxford University Table Tennis Club (OUTTC) is a welcoming social club for all levels of university table tennis players. We aim to provide beginners and national players alike a space to play and learn table tennis.

Each year we run taster sessions for beginners and our squad players dedicate one week each to help coach less experienced players. Club training is run by the students themselves and naturally this fluctuates with experience as students move through the university. Ultimately, we strive to raise the profile of table tennis within the university and to give our competitive players the opportunity to play in highly regarded leagues and competitions.

Currently our men’s and women’s teams are at the top of their leagues and compete in the Midlands cup and BUCS Nationals. They travel every other week in order to play these matches which naturally takes a toll on the student funds. In order to keep sending the teams here we need to be able pay for accommodation and travel up to Nottingham. Alongside this the majority of our equipment is several years old and desperately needs updating.

Any gift, whatever it’s size, will help support OUTTC. Your donation can help to keep Table Tennis accessible to all, whilst allowing our competitive to continue to succeed. Ways in which your donation can make a difference are:

  • £15 will provide us with a new beginners’ bat
  • £30 will provide us with a new net or a set of training balls
  • £40 will provide us with match balls for one season
  • £50 will pay for one persons’ accommodation for the BUCS Nationals weekend
  • £150 will pay for a teams’ travel expenses for a term
  • £400 will pay for a new table
  • £600 will pay for a coach for a year
