The Mathematical, Physical & Life Sciences (MPLS) Division delivers research and teaching of the highest calibre. Its departments enjoy an international reputation for excellence in the mathematical, physical and life sciences, as well as in interdisciplinary areas, particularly at the interface with the medical and environmental sciences. Its academic staff educate students of high academic merit and potential from all over the world, developing their ability to solve major mathematical, scientific and engineering problems, and equipping them for a wide range of careers.
